EU-VRi and Argonne National Laboratory (US) sign a MoU in the field of resilience of critical infrastructures
Early 2018, the European Virtual Institute for Integrated Risk Management (EU-VRi) and Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the aim of strengthening their collaboration in the field of resilience of critical infrastructures.
SmartResilience consortium met in Serbia the 4th week of February. The project's next steps were planned. The meeting is concluded with a workshop and drill for the case study for industrial production, named ECHO!

Prof. Dr. A. Jovanovic was invited as guest lecturer for the public safety lecture series at BUW (University of Wuppertal). His presentation focused on the state of the art knowledge about resilience quantification developed within the SmartResilience project.
SINTEF published a chronicle on the SmartResilience project in the Norwegian newspaper "Dagens Næringsliv" on October 27, 2017. "Dagens Næringsliv" is a newspaper specializing in business news. As of 2015, it is the third largest newspaper in Norway.
